This is my first novel, published a couple of weeks ago. I've been tying to get my head around Goodreads and then came across this group and it seemed the perfect match.
"0w1:believe" is a supernatural political horror story: think of '1984' with bestial demons and vampire priests.
It follows a group of young political dissidents who seek to undermine the dark spiritual Powers behind a totalitarian State. They are drawn to what they call the vision space, where they meet the aforementioned demons and vampires.
I've always been drawn to dystopic books and films and the Publisher, Chris Lorensson, encouraged me to write for a wider audience and then this genre seemed the perfect one to follow his lead with.
I like to do a little genre-bending and so to fuse the political with dystopic horror was the way to go.
