Started reading this to take a wee break from the headiness and complexity of "Last Exit".
It really was the perfect little "snack break" before I go back into "Last Exit". Enough of a post-apocalyptic vibe without being overwhelming (despite the scary bloody similarities of CV-19 run amok), and the lovely bits of hope peeking through. Yup.
3.5 rounded up to 4 because sometimes that little sunshine snack is all you need to fuel your head and heart. ...more
