This was a pretty good book and done fairly well as long as you think having a book filled with first-person encounters with zombies is a good idea. Which I don't. To be discussed at the Powells Beaverton SF group on Tuesday October 10th at 7pm.

I know this book has been well reviewed and it was recommended to me by quite a few people. While it wasn't terrible and I can see why a movie based on this book has been made ( I even see why Brad Pitt was cast) it left me cold. Because the story was told as " An oral history of the zombie war" all the events were in the past and already resolved. All the people interviewed were survivors and the war was over. FIVE STARS! One of my favorite novels of the past few years. Such creativity, it satisfied my every desire of "what would I do in that situation". Looking forward to the movie, but a little concerned about how it will be butchered.
