I guess I did not anticipate the ending, which makes it better than being able to guess the ending.
Decent read....a few passages do (and will) stick in my mind for a while, which is the mark of a decent book (for me).

Really, 3.5 stars. There were a few things that annoyed me about the end, and I found the distance covered in the time allotted and the obstacles the protagonist faced to be totally improbable, but it was still a very entertaining and satisfying read.
This was a decent book. I'm glad I read some of the reviews early. So many people HATED Marty, but I feel like that was sort of the point of the whole thing. It's more than a walk home, it's an awakening for this man. The book can be judgmental at times, but I like they way Goldberg handles it in the end. Overall, a decent PA read.
