I am terrible at book reviews, but I feel the need to explain my 3 stars, and why I really wanted to give it 2 despite the many many many 5 star reviews.

I enjoyed the story and the world the author built. The virus theories were intriguing as well, but it seemed like the way the story was told in first person present tense, there was so much more telling than showing. And the characters, despite being on the cusp of their thirties, come across as teens in their dialogue and actions. This wouldn ...more

Interesting zombie novel with hardly any zombies. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're a zombie killing fan this is probably not your book. The main character is a bit self-involved but most of the characters are pleasant people who perhaps don't take their situation as seriously as I would expect. If you think you might like a zombie novel that isn't too violent and is a bit idyllic, this might be the work for you. I enjoyed it well enough. ...more

UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD was a really good read. A fun Z-novel that had excellent pacing, good characters (yes, it has characters and social dwama), and a satisfying ending.

Recommend to other Post-Apoc readers.
