This is my 2nd Karen Chance book and I liked Cassie better than Dorina in Midnight's Daughter. And I didn't mind the flashbacks or memories in this book as much either. But I am not a huge fan of flashbacks, so if this is going to happen in each book, it will get old fast.
Since I read Midnight's Daughter first, I met most of the characters in that book. It was interesting to learn more about all the vampires. Tomás Carreño, Tony Daniels, Louis-Cesare, and Mircea Basarab.
