Now that society has advanced through controlling the genetics of the population to the point that they can guarantee a full and healthy life up to age 80 (not a day more though, mind you), everything is not as perfect as it seems. On Match Day, Cassia is excited when Xander, her neighbor and good friend, is announced as her match. Really liked this one! It's a dystopian YA novel, premise of the current society chooses everything for the citizens based upon statistical probability of things. At 17, all students are shown their matches, who will be their spouse, if they don't opt to be a Single for life. The main character is shown her match and unlike 99% of the others where their match lives in a different place, hers is one of her best friends. They celebrate. She takes home the disc they give with the Match's info on it ...more

Always a pleasure to read this book, for sure this is one of my favorite ones. Some may say it is boring, but it's truely a journey, we found Cassia, which is a girl perfectly happy with the samples of life he Society gives her, and then she changes into a brand new person and she fells in love and despite everything, it is really a pure love that that Ky and Cssia feel for one another.

So I truely enjoy that.

Pure love, nothing better tahn that.

I adored the characters, the thrilling storyline and how carefully thought out everything was from the entire concept of the Society to the commonplace features like the ports and air trains. It's a rebellious love story set within a perfect-slash-sinister world. This is my third t ...more
