This book had me from the first few pages. Unlike other YA dystopias this one is a love story. I like that it is not being obnoxious about it, it's kind of romantic.
The world of this book is scary. They way to develop a good life and health for everyone includes perfect food intake, recording of everyone's dreams and actions, and the total removal of choice, whether job, mate, food or activity. This is terrifying.

I absolutely loved this book. It is well written, and consistent; There is something that reminds me of the Suzanne Collins books, I think it is the teen relationships, and the love triangle, mostly, the beautiful way they are drawn, though for tight, confident, writing it gets my vote as better. I really liked this book. It had a slow start, but it got better. love the narrator. I love Ky. I can't say I hate any of the characters. But this book only got three stars because I wanted more. I wanted more action. It has a slow start, and I think the ending is a bit weak. I want to read the second book, but I don't have this deep urge to.
