I loved this book, it was a bit slow to start but it picked up and it got so good that it was AMAZING and it got more intense. I loved every bit of it and it made me think that I am proud to be human!

Angelfall is written in first person from the perspective of teen Penryn Young. The author's use of present rather than past tense creates a sense of urgency that immediately draws the reader in. There is never a lull in this book, no easy stopping point. Chances are that unless something forcibly pulls you away, you'll read this in one sitting.

Okay. Wow. This book was really good, but it was also pretty disturbing. I'm not used to reading very disturbing books, so this came as a shock, haha. But I couldn't finish reading it--NOT BECAUSE IT WAS A BAD BOOK. I would probably give it 3/5 stars if I had finished it.
The mother was crazysauce (for those of y'all who like awesomesauce xD) and... she was pretty disturbing too.
I'll probably push myself to read this again in a while, because I hate just stopping in the middle of a book.
