I thoroughly enjoyed this retelling on a classic story. Although it took me a couple of chapters to really get into the story, by the middle I was craving more! Especially with that ending.. need Scarlet now!

I like it fine, but I don’t love it. Not 100% my thing, which doesn’t make a ton of sense since I’m usually all about fairytale retellings lol.

Woah I've got nothing but praise for this book. I admit i was reluctant to read it because I didn't really want a story about robots. But this book went waaaay beyond my expectations.
The story was always captivating. Some plot twist i didn't expect others... well (view spoiler).

I honestly loved everything. The politics, the culture, Cinder, Kai, well everyone really.
So this isn't a proper review

I was really surprised by this book. At first I didn't want to read it. I mean cyborgs and fairytales... At least that was what I thought. Now I'm mad at myself for NOT wanting to read it. It was FANTASTIC! If you enjoy a fairytale retelling you should DEFINITELY read Cinder. I can't wait to read the next one! ...more
