I love John Green. And this book while it is good, didn't intrigue me as much as The fault in our stars or paper towns did.
First off I couldn't get into it and kept reading to find out what after was. I didn't feel sorry for Alaska. Everyone gets hurt but it doesn't mean you can be rude to other people when you feel like it. My favorite character in this book had to be the Colonel.

I honestly tried to read it twice, once because I was incredibly impressed by The Fault In Our Stars and twice because my friend recommended it. I really did my best, but it just wasn't interesting enough to read it further twice. But I guess I can't really judge since I haven't read the whole book.
