What Members Thought
This book had great potential. And then the romance happened. It just felt so forced. I found myself rolling my eyes every time Gavriel appeared on screen.
I wish LaFevers hadn't ended the book like that. This book feels like the first in a series. None of the threads about Ismae's mistrust of the convent were ever finished. (view spoiler) Come on.
