Unfortunately, I did not like the main character, Eliza, to the extent that it made me hyper-critical of everything that happened in the story. I do think that Francesca Zappia wrote really well from the perspective of an introvert who had some mental health issues, however, I still think that Eliza was generally unlikeable through the entirety of the novel.

2.5 stars. This book started out so promising. Well written, unique characters, with an interesting story line. But after the first few chapters everything slowed down. And then nothing really happened. I read on, hoping things would pick up later, but no. There were long chapters of boring nothing. So I gave up interest. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from.

A teen loves to draw, she’s an artist and she creates a webcomic fantasy. Names herself ladyconstellation as the anonymous writer. She falls for a boy with baggage, her parents just don’t understand and instead of anyone talking to each other they all assume.. run away or ignore their problems. So parents make huge mistake, almost ruins her and career but maybe she gains some self esteem after all.
