Shelves: new-adult, best-series

I GAVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS BECAUSE IT'S FREAKING SEXY; ACTUALLY IT DOESN'T DESERVE 5 STARS, IT DESERVES ALL THE CONSTELLATION IN THE SKY AT NIGHT! OH WELL THAT'S HOW SEXY IT IS.

I want to make my review spoiler-free, but I don't think I can do that, hahahaha just kidding. This book is a toe and finger-curling one,pillow-throwing, bestfriends-arm-punching and tummy-clenching! It sends giggles through my entire system, I guess this is because this book is not the archetypal boy meets girl or girl meets boy, this one is a fast-paced and is loaded with sexiness.

I'll give you some peek of Travis sexiness....

"You have my word. I won't even think about your panties..... unless you want me to."

"It's hard to forget you're behind me when your thighs are squeezing the life out of me."

Could Travis get any sexier like dammit! This book will make you realize that sexy,hot and good guys will forever remain fictional characters and can only be found in books.

The story doesn't start with the love at first sight type though, but those kind of love you feel when you meet a person that makes you feel like you're different from the usual self you think people think you are; well in Travis' case, it's so ironic in his character that he's this one of kind popular because of his he's-popular-of-one-night-stand kind of reputation with half of women of their university, but soon it turned out that he's totally underneath the level-headed Abby Abernathy. Travis and Abby have full honesty to their conversation, straight-forward, and I guess that's what makes their story a disastrous one,they're so honest to each other, they tend to force each other if they meant it or couldn't distinguish if they should be kidding or not. And that's why I like their love story, it wouldn't lead you to confusion of does-he-love me-does she-love-me type of relationship. This one is different, full of humor and very addictive, I'm actually obsessed with this that I read this for 3 times in a row without getting tired of it. I actually had this tendency that I randomly shuffle through pages and when I pick, that's where I start.

If you guys are looking for a read that has an equal amount of romance as dope, this is one of the best around! Seriously, I don't care about what other reviews say, I'm 18 and lovin' this story. I truly am putting this on my freaking-favorite shelf and I love how Jamie McGuire writes stories, I will check out all her books! ...more

*Sigh* I was too kind two years ago. Let me review this again and this time, as a person who has read far more better books than the person from two years ago. It took me 8 months to finish this book. Good books would take me less than a day, an average probably 1-3 days depending on length. This took me 8 months. That should say something about the writing, it was hard to stomach. I mean I read Fifty Shades and that took me less time to read. Like I said below, some parts ...more

Beautiful disaster truly is a disaster with main characters that are absolutely crazy. I am sorry but this `romance` was not romance. They do not love each other, they have some weird sick and twisted version of it, but it`s not love. Love doesn`t scream and practically break your door down when you break up with them. Love doesn`t beat up every guy that so much as looks at you etc etc etc

It was good... I just felt there was no greater plot than the relationship, you know? And I think Pidgeon gave into Travis a little easily... but nevermind. The character developments were great, and overall, I really enjoyed myself :)

Fast paced, exciting, full of intrigue, and fun.

I loved the characters. The story was unrealistic in a few sections for me. Mostly, I thought the Vegas stuff was a little over-the-top, but that's also what made it interesting. For me, it was hard to put the book down. Looking forward to reading more from Jamie McGuire! ...more
