I couldn't connect with the characters, especially Margo. However, I didn't dislike her until the end of the story. In the beginning, I found her interesting, adventurous, and I wanted to know more about this girl that Quentin has loved for some many years. Review: Honestly? This was my least favorite John Green book so far. But it's probably my own fault. I didn't do my research and realize that one of the genres was mystery.
See, the cover looked so innocent! There was a nice little map with a big ol' push pin! And the title, Paper Towns, sounded so cute! Note that I didn't know what a paper town was at the time.

4.4 stars, actually.
This book was eh. It was nice, but fell a little short of my expectations.
The writing was pretty enjoyable, very casual. The tiny little "teen" stuff/scenes sprinkled in made everything very funny and light. The main character's friends were also hilarious. I love Ben! The most important thing was actually the very touching ending. It was extremely deep (as in philosophically) and it impressed me. I usually think about life in ways similar to that and I've never thought that ...more

Just like the fault in our stars paper towns isn't a let down. John green has very unique characters with very interesting personalities. You can very clearly see bits of him in this story. Although it might seem confusing throughout the story when you finish it is a very got plot line. John green you pleasantly surprised me again
