What Members Thought

The writing style was amazing. Very different and very entertaining . The storyline was very unique, never read any story similar to it ever. At some point I thought I won't be able to complete it but it won my heart totally. This story shows us how to believe in our selves and that we can be whatever we want to. Good or Evil. The characters are very well written. It is a bit of introspective book, that's what I felt . Romance was very sweet. Both Adam and Juliette were so innocent when they fir

It was a good book. Took me awhile to really get into it. The beginning was just so mysterious and at some point I just wanted it to tell me what was going on. Writing style was different, but in a good way I guess. I've heard so much about this book so I wasn't sure if that's partly the reason it took me so long to get into it. Overall, not that bad

Review: 30 March 2014
I loved this book from the first page, it is something different especially with the strikeouts throughout the book. I enjoyed every minute of this book but sometimes I just want to strange Juliette because of her thoughts throughout the book. Overall, I loved this book and I am pumped for the next one! But first I will read the novella that goes between Shatter Me and Unravel Me.

“I always wonder about raindrops.
I wonder about how they're always falling down, tripping over their own feet, breaking their legs and forgetting their parachutes as they tumble right out of the sky toward an uncertain end. It's like someone is emptying their pockets over the earth and doesn't seem to care where the contents fall, doesn't seem to care that the raindrops burst when they hit the ground, that they shatter when they fall to the floor, that people curse the days the drops dare to tap ...more

After hearing and reading so much about the serious I got really curious and wanted to see what the hype was all about.
The writing style is very unique, but for me it was easy on the eyes and brain. Partially the writing had a poetic touch to it, which fitted in with the rest of the writing style.
Plotwise it did not disappoint. The plot was interesting, typical YA dystopian, with interesting characters. Some characterizations were hinted at and I am curious whether the open questions will be pic ...more

And to think that I was considering giving this book five stars.
The beginning was so good! I thought it was going to be one of my new favorite books. I had already planned out part of this review in my head; I was going to describe Shatter Me as "beautiful" and "artistic". But the romance ruined every thing. It was cheesy and cringe-worthy. And unfortunately made up 80% of the book.
I'm so done with this book.
Don't read this book! It's way too cliché... ...more

I enjoyed the plot but I think I wanted even more action. I also wondered why Juliette had to be the girl that all the guys wanted. But overall, I really enjoyed her relationship with Adam. I also love how all of the characters in this book are smooth-talkers and you don't know who should and should not be trusted.
