Overall:
This book is hyped and I want to see if it delivers! It’s a good book but I found myself googling about of things about Russia and words they use because I like to get into the story. It will keep you reading! I felt like I connected with the character and felt what she felt. It was beautifully written! I didn’t like the love triangle or rather Malyen. It’s a must read

4.5 stars probably, but wow this book blew my mind. I absolutely adored this book, I still don't like Mal and I hated her at the beginning when she was whining for him. And I don't know the Darkling intrigues me, I hope because she can summon light, she can, I don't know, maybe heal the darkness away and then she'll fall in love with him. ...more
