This book was amazing. Just superb. Incredible. I just finished the book two seconds ago, so my feels are in over drive. I finished the last two hundred pages of the book in about two hours straight. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. Now! Go! Read!!! ...more

I almost didn't read this book. I'm so glad I did! You see, I have the tendency to judge a book by its cover. Not that there was anything wrong with the cover. It just seemed.. nah. But I was desperate for something to read. So I reluctantly picked up the book, reread the inside info, opened to the first page...and...was sucked into the its vortex of dystopian awesomeness!!! A plague has swept the nation, but some kids are instead left with powers. Each power is named a color.Ruby is put in a ca I almost didn't read this book. I'm so glad I did! The plague part kinda reminded me of Eve but that's where the similarities stop. Let's start with Liam. There was no insta love. THANK YOU!!! They had conversations. They didn't go all gaga when they first saw each other. It was a slower relationship. Chubs. He was that nerdy backseat guy you couldn't help but love. Then Zu. she might not have spoken, but she spoke through the story. (view spoiler) Can't wait for the sequel! ...more

The Darkest Minds is a must read. It is one of those books that will have you devouring one page after the next and before you know it...its over! I instantly downloaded the sequel and two novellas as soon as I finished this and I cannot wait to continue the story. it probably wouldve only taken me a day if I hadn't been reading 4 books at once. ...more

dam my tears betray me as they always do when my heart feels like it will break. The ending was so sad and overwhelming I just couldn't help it... hope the next book will help mend the brokenness I felt after reading this amazing tale of friendship and love. ...more
