DNF at 30%, because patience isn't my virtue.

It's unpopular opinion time, people (plus a story!!!).

Towards the end of my senior year in high school, we weren't doing anything much in any of my classes. We took all our finals early, so there wasn't anything else for us to do except count down the days till we could finally graduate and get the hell out of school. In the meantime, most of my teachers showed us movies to hold our attention (basically, the last two weeks of school was 6 period of wa

Title: The Darkest Minds
Series:The Darkest Minds #1
Author:Alexandra Bracken
Rating:4.5 stars
Recommend to?:Anyone in need of a kickbutt girl role model :]

My Review: I picked this book up without knowing what it was about. I just saw everyone reading it and enjoying it and i just had to have it!

The characters were great. Ruby is the main character and she's pretty kicka$$. A for sure good role model for other girls. She survives the "disease" that wipes out most of American's little kids

This is the type of book you'll remember months from now. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken is so well put together. The plot twists and turns more than roller coaster. This book had me laughing so hard my sides hurted, one moment, and the next I was balling my eyes out. It's a must read.
5 Reasons To Read The Darkest Minds:
1. The world building is like no other.
2. The plot! The plot!! The plot!!!
3. Strong set of characters
4. Alexandra Bracken's writing is incredibly vivid, and simply beauti

OMG!!!!

Mind blown. Speechless. Boggled. Gasping. Crying. Desperate. Amazed. In Awe.
But maybe just a little Denial as well(to be explained).

This was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G with all capitals! No joke, legitimate fangirling here.

It was just so in depth and touching, so well thought out with so many different back stories weaved together to make one massive, beautiful rug. The words and emotions and woven in with love and care, and- and... and I'm speechless.

But, I'm in denial.
OHMYGOD THAT ENDING!
Why?! Just as I wa

I don't know why but I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book or not and I didn't really have that good expectation of what this book was going to be like. However I must admit I was completely wrong I absolutely loved this book even though I was not expecting it. This book was able to enthral me with the story line with very likeable characters. I especially liked a main character who wasn't necessarily that strong and especially towards the beginning was not courageous at all which is ve ...more

I loved it, especially Liam, I really hope their is a sequel because their is no way it can end with....THAT kind of an ending. I thought Clancy made the book better but just that much more devious and evil, bringing the title darkest minds. don't trust Clancy, don't trust phsycotic oranges. I mean in the end even ruby was acting a little strange. ...more
