What Members Thought

I didn't hate this book, I just thought "it was okay".
This book just felt like it had no point.
The book just seemed like this:
Present time
Flashback
Flashback
Present
Flashback
Present
Flashback
Flashback
Flashback
I understand that this was supposed to be the whole "life flashes before your eyes" thing but...
1. I'm not a serious person so I don't do well with serious stuff.
2. I'm okay with flashbacks but an overabundance of them makes it seem like there's no plot and hurts my tiny brain...

I absolutely loved this book. And, I do admit that I cried near the end when Adam was begging Mia to "stay", right before she "returned". That was really touching.
---------------
This book really makes you think. We never know when everything we have could become unimportant. And, the most important things, the ones that we take for granted? Even family? We never know when we could lose it all.
This book does an excellent job of catching us up on Mia's life. You feel like someone outside lookin ...more

This book is really close to perfection.
Mia's whole beloved family died in a car accident, and Mia suffers terrible injuries and gets into coma. Somehow, Mia's able to watch everything that happens around her body - her relatives visits, her best friend and boyfriend attempts to reach her and the nurses who encourage her to stay.
Mia understand the she's the one who has to choose whether she stays alive to face the difficulties of losing her family or whether she dies.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
I may or may not be just talking about Adam....
This is one of the first books i've read when i discovered that i truly am a bookworm. I've reread this a couple of times already but my feelings for
Adam
this book remains the same. If not, then stronger.
This is one of those books i don't want to overanalyze. I just simply want to love it until my last breath.

For me this book was a bit of a let down. They plot was interesting and had the potential to be great but it just fell short. First of all the book seemed short to me. I read a lot of young adult books and I do tend to read a book in a day, but I was able to finish If I stay in a little over an hour. I also ended up getting a bit bored in some parts of the book. Overall I thought it was an ok book.
