I did not like this book. The storyline was terribly slow, dull, and I didn't feel the chemistry between Karou and Akiva. I don't plan on continuing the series, but I must say - how it was written and crafted was just beautiful! Lyrically written in a sense where you just don't want to leave the world of Karou and the mysterious romance between the the two, Akiva and Karou. I can see how other people may find this book enticing and perfectly perfect, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Ok,just yesterday i finished with this book and all i have to say is that this book was just:

- << Once upon a time,an angel and a devil fell in love.It did not end well. >>

It had all the good stuff that makes a fantasy and young adult book perfect for reading.
+The different worlds and the different cultures and legends it mentions
+Fast action, full of adventure
+Wonderful plot
+The passion and the chemistry between the two main protagonists

“Once upon a time an angel and a devil fell in love it did not end well”
That’s the beginning image a feather falling between love and it. This book is beautiful colorful and I wished I owned it.
Overall :
It’s a slow beginning but only because I am excepting so much! I cried when kishmish died. I hate kaz but love at the same time. I never will trust razgut he would sale karou out in a min. love her bestie to pieces! THAT ENDING THO!

Damn......This book was so amazing I loved it.. The writing style of Laini was absolutely perfect, I adored it. And the characters jdxnsnxnjsjxnxkd. Omg definitely one of my favorites.
