Absolutely brilliant.My initial thoughts when I first discovered These Broken Stars was: That sounds similar to Under the never sky by Veronica Rossi: Dual POVs with two personalities that clashes, A female character who's accustomed to a life of luxury and privileges who discover a whole new world...And to be honest, that's exactly why I picked up that book. When the book first started i did feel a tide annoyed with it starting with this whole love in fist-sight. But the book doesn’t take long to take a whole different route. The story becomes more then that and you get thrown into a book of survival and heartbreak.

Tarver falls for a girl named Lilac, not know who she really was. Lilac Turns down Tarver even know she liked him because of her Father. Scared of what he would do to him. Of Course Tarver finds out Who Lilac is and to him he fault Stupid When the book first started i did feel a tide annoyed with it starting with this whole love in fist-sight. But the book doesn’t take long to take a whole different route. The story becomes more then that and you get thrown into a book of survival and heartbreak.

Of Course Tarver finds out Who Lilac is and to him he fault Stupid to ever look at Lilac. The story takes a huge twist after that somehow the ship they where on gets destroyed. Lilac and Tarver escape on a Pod and land on a Mysterious planet. They both struggle with survival and finding help while also having to deal with mysterious whispers.

There is some little action but not really the story is mostly about survival mixed with alienated “creatures”. You watch Tarver and Lilac grow close but also struggle with dealing with each other. The story has it’s moments that make you laugh but can make you cry soon after. It can take a serious intense Twist. Which happens a lot in this book. You never know what is gonna happen. it really didn’t take me long to get hooked to every word. But the story is still a Science Fiction love story but the authors did such a great job at portraying it.

I also love how the story is a way a Flash back in the beginning of each chapter you get like Bits of interrogation with Tarver telling what happened on the planet. I thought it made the story really interesting a whole it flowed with the story and it short helped with following along with the story.

I really love Lilac and Tarver’s characters. They both had such different life’s and personality’s but they clicked. Lilac is more smarter and Tarver is more of the fighter. without them both i don;t think any of them would have survived on thee own. The more you got close to the end of the story the more the tears the come along. it was so freaking sad and bittersweet and just pure awesome an a way and if you read the book you know what i mean.

I know the book was gonna be good but i was really shocked on how good it was, it really suppressed me. The story was so unique and different. it didn’t take me long to finish this story. In a funny way tho just in the beginning the book did somehow remind me of Titanic…..Step for “Jack” Doesn’t die and only two people live…..oh and the ship doesn’t hit a iceberg. But the similarity’s to it was totally there.

Overall: I really did love the overall story. DO NOT stop reading at the beginning but it gets wayyyyy better then that. I cried, I laughed and shed more tears reading this book. I went crazy on how the book ended and i can’t wait to read the next book in this series…i will be sitting here waiting for the day it comes out. The book was pretty amazing and different and very enjoyable. I recommend it. If you have not yet bought it, do me a favor and got on Amazon or a local book store and buy this book. It is worth the read.

I thought the story was good. Tarver was really easy to love. Lilac was a pain in the behind, but i guess it can be justified. She was raised a spoiled brat. She definitely grows up when the ship they were on crashes. Tarvor definitely helped her grow up. She could've used a few slaps, but he sure as hell didn't treat her like a princess. She had to toughen up a bit.

Their love story was very nice. What the creatures of the planet do for them was amazing. Once they got rescused, I got so freaking ...more

This book was very good at times, and then it got boring in between. I liked the mystery of the creatures on the planet, I think there could have been more with that and less love story. But I find it cool that I got a Titanic feeling, but in space.
