What Members Thought
I get why many folks have rated this lower than other Tim Powers, and I will grant this book is a little sloppier compared to some other Powers books. That said I... really loved it? In terms of pure joy of reading, this might be my favorite Powers book (though now that "Forced Perspectives" is out, that feels like it has many of the charms of "Alternate Routes" and none of the flaws so far.)
