Apparently I tried to read this earlier but dropped it. (I did? Hrmm, mommy brain) but picked it up again recently and zoomed through it.

Definitely helpful even if there is nothing new at this stage in my parenting. I know enough about my own philosophy to see where I agree and where I disagree. They advocate for having the kids work out their own solution while I feel that sticking around and being a neutral facilitator to their solution can be a better place to start. This book is AMAZING! The time and energy and thought that went into this clear. They show parents how to view sibling antagonism from a new perspective, give the tools for how to improve and grow sibling connections, and help the adults reconcile their own sibling experiences. I can’t recommend this enough. It will now be a go-to gift for me for parents when expecting additional children.
It also makes me want to read her other book: “How to listen so kids will talk…”.
