Start to finish simply awesome. The characters are all so wonderfully flawed and the dialogue is anything but flawed. The caustic banter had me laughing. Glotka's thought process is a wonderful schadenfreude stream of consciousness. Really looking forward to the next two books in the trilogy. ...more

I just finished this book and despite my initials concerns it was a good one.

I'll focus this review around 3 things: the writing,the story, the characters

the story
My initials concerns came from this aspect. The plot seemed so normal that i found really odd how the book was highly rated. The first half of "The Blade Itself" didn't do anything to make me change my mind.
It was boring. and when i say boring i mean REALLY boring(some darks moments of The Wheel of Time came in my mind ). If you cons ...more
