This book has been sitting on my nightstand for a couple of years. It's a classic in the running world and after reading it, I understand why. Murakami shares a collection of essays about why he runs as well as some race experiences. Not all of it works; some of it is just of rambling thoughts, the kind of things that go through your head when you're running but aren't necessarily things others might want to read.
