First of all I didn't finish reading this book because it is absolutely absurd, but I did manage to read 3/4 of it and just couldn't go on anymore.

I think that Rachel Caine tried to write about a girl in college, but since the novel had to be put in the category, and YA is the most popular nowadays, she just changed a few details - like how the main heroine is 16 and in college, how she's a "genius" which I have gotten no proof of in the book and how she's innovative - she tries to make a book t

Honestly, I’ve been meaning to finish this series for a while so I re-read this one! This book had some moments that really showed the year that it was published in, but I’m hoping I enjoy the rest of the series!

Also, I remember being surprised last time and was also equally surprised this time with who the love interest is, aha!

This is a filler series for me. I like it because the books aren't expensive and they are fast reads. Plus it contains a factor that is very important for me to be a good series: it has 2 hot guys in it! What can I say, I am a bit shallow :). ...more
