When I first saw this book , I thought OK, another supernatural novel and that it must be about angels as that's what it looked like from the cover to me and then I thought it might be about water sirens etc as Tempest is a water creature e.g like the book "Tempest Rising". I had been wanting to read this series for a while now. I had checked out the first 2 books from the library on a couple different occasions, but never got around to reading them. But when we were blessed to find out that we would be able to host Julie Cross for a FFBC event, and would be receiving TIMESTORM for review, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to marathon the series.

I had a hard time with this one. I listened to the audiobook, and I pretty much loathe whenever a guy tries to do a girl's voice. It just ends up not sounding right. Also, there was nothing very remarkable about any of the characters, and I couldn't really see why Jackson loved Holly. There's a part near the end involving the two of them and I rolled my eyes so hard, I think the person in the car next to me felt it. The time travel stuff was weird and honestly kind of stupid.
