Local town girl gets entangled with boys from the local prep school. Throw in some occult: her mother and aunts can foretell the future. The preppies all have issues, but their leader Gansey seeks the final resting place of a long dead European king, whom he believes is buried in the Virginian hills, having travelled on a ley line. Too long and wandering, and Blue's interest in more than one boy is disturbing. I liked what Stiefvater did with Noah -- highlight of the book for me. ...more

Man that ending was eerie. Such a haunting book with a weird and intriguing plot. I’m really interested too see where this goes.
