I love books that are several hundred pages, but you would never know it because it has sucked you in and the pages just fly by. Ashfall did that for me; I found myself imaging what it would be like if Yellowstone actually did explode, what would my plan of action be, and what research was out there already. I mean erupting super-volcanos is serious business! I loved the world building; I felt like I was there breathing in the ash and trying to walk through the snow drifts with Alex and Darla. I
