This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. The only part I really like about this book was the very beginning, even though that's classic YA format. The fact that the love interest Sebastian wanted nothing to do with the main character Evie was what made the romance for me, but then when she met him again there was none of that tension from earlier and he explained it off by saying he just wanted to scare her off. Shelves: young-adult, mystery, sci-fi-fantasy, romance, creepy, for-the-ladies, just-a-little-disappointing, first-edition, paranormal, ghosts

I wanted to like this more, but the writing was a bit flat and the romance weak. The mystery saves the day, though. Let's call it 3.5 stars.
