I LOVED this novel! But I was honestly putting off reading it. I bought at Borders with the mentality of 'well there aren't many good/decent books I haven't read so why not?' When I went to buy it, the cashier said that the author had come by earlier in the week and had signed books and they had some left over. It wasn't any extra money so I got it and am really glad I did! This is one of the best novels I've read in a long time.

This series has been on my TBR for so long. When I saw that my library had the audiobooks on OverDrive, I finally jumped on it. Sadly, I was very underwhelmed. This series has garnered so much praise and attention, and my expectations going in were high. I was bored throughout. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I will give the series another chance and try the next one! I would not describe Nora as helpless, but she kept making stupid decisions which made me have a hard time connecting

I love the cover! The insides, well, I wouldn't call it *love* per se. I'd call it a strong desire to make out with a fictional character. Yeah. That's it.
Writing and writer get the thumbs-up (for comparison's sake, Marked seemed like an endless, boring and cliched wasteland; Hush Hush was more of a page-turner--much better!), plot and mythology were promising, guy was hot and girl was not that interesting. All in all a fair first novel and worth a read. Perfect for a dark and stormy night.

For many many reasons I could not enjoy this book. AT ALL. I would give a list of reasons why but that would take about 3 pages and I have a test tommorrow for History I would rather be studying for than reading/talking about this book.
Sexist themes, and under-developed characters aside--this story BORED ME TO TEARS. I kept putting it down every few pages or so. Finally about 3/4 of the way I gave up.
Will NOT be reading book 2. -__-

i could not put this book down. love patch. he's dangerous and predatory and super sexy. nora is sweet and smart. i love when the two main characters hate each other at first and there's definitely some good fighting going on in this one. sigh. i don't know if i would compare it to twilight. i actually think the writing is much better in this one than in twilight though if you like twilight, you'll probably like hush, hush. more patch, please!
