This is another one of those series that has been sitting on my shelf at home and I couldn't decide which books were a priority. As soon as the Twilight craze started, I decided I really didn't want to get into vampire books just like everyone else was just because it was the new big thing. So I waited, and waited. Nice twist, super-cheesy, but luckily for Claudia Gray, I *heart* cheese.

Much more tolerable than Blue Bloods, much less pretentious than Twilight. Let's call it vampire-lite. Great taste, less filling.

I'm game for the sequel! It's going to throw me off, though, that they changed the main guy's name from Jared to Lucas. ...more
