Ohmigosh. I was crazy hesitant about starting the Vampire Academy series, I have tried MANY vampire series and most if them I did not even finish. The Vampire series that I have read did not really leave an impression. Vampire Academy, was not like the other series. I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book! the writting, story, characters, EVERYTHING I ate it up. Aside from my occasional urge to bitchslap Rose and the lack of chemistry between her and Dimitri, I find Vampire Academy quite an entertaining read. In fact, I'm thinking of continuing this series as I saw from other reviews that the story will only get better on the next books.

There has been so many reviews made for this book so I don't feel the need to include the summary of the story in this review. Instead, I will settle on the things I like and the things I have a problem with.
