Well, I finally did it. I finally read Vampire Academy! The series has been out since 2007 and hoards of adoring fans rave about it, but I just never got around to reading it. So, when I saw a super cheap copy of the first book at my local used book store I decided to pick it up. I'm so happy I did! It's definitely the best series I've ever read. (Yes, including Harry Potter!)
It has great plot, writing, and the characters...
Well, I just loved Rose Hathaway. It's so rare to read about a female protagonist that is so strong and sarcastic and funny that doesn't make fun of her herself on a regular basis.
And Dimitri... All I can say is that I never believed to a character in my life. He was so real, and what can I say? I just love warriors.
