I want to love this book. I really do. I have a hard bound copy and it costs me more than the budget I usually alloted for books. For the price of one hard bound, you can already buy two soft bound books. So when you spent a lot for something, you want to convince yourself that it's worth the price, right? You don't want to regret spending so much for a piece of mediocre literary work. So I guess, everyone can understand why do I have this strong feeling to love this book so much. I’ve definitely fallen in love with books set in Paris. It started with Anna and the French Kiss and moved on from there. There’s just something about this city that’s magical, so it makes sense that it’s a setting for a paranormal novel.
