What Members Thought
I originally read this book around 10 years ago and remember thoroughly enjoying it. However, my views on the book have changed since then. I think that the plot is a good one but was annoyed with the writing and how the author decided to approach the subject of depression. It took me roughly 5 months to finish this book because I lost interest in reading it around the first 1/3 due to the way it was written. This book was really dark. I couldn't put the book aside because I wanted to know when Edward would man up and get back to her. I had a hard time liking Jacob, yes he helped her get through a rough time, but it's not like he kept his promise totally, and he should understand that she couldn't let Edward die in Italy, think about how much guilt she would start carrying.

Didn't really like this book that much. I really dont like the character of Jacob and how he tries to get Bella away from Edward. This book was way to much Jacob and the time they spent together. I like the ending where Bella goes to save Edward and he tells her how much he really loves her. ...more
