Since this is the book that got me into reading it is time to pay my due respect to it. Though to be honest it is getting harder and harder to read through all of the cringe in this book. This is definitely a nostalgic read and I cannot take it too seriously. I find Bella and Edward funny in this book; more so than in the movies (which I can't even bring myself to rewatch even for nostalgic reasons). Charlie is the best and he deserves the world.

Twilight is great for a mindless bit of entertainment and to take time up during isolation! Yes, they are flawed books and on this re-read, I definitely noticed more of Edward's weird stalker behaviour and Bella's toxic obsessiveness, but you know what they're compulsive and entertaining and I enjoy them! I always love Charlie's character too, and these have more funny moments than I remember. ...more

Twilight was a good book. It's about vampires and it's written for teenagers. I would say it's a good book to read anywhere from the ages of 9-14. The length may be a bit for some at that age but if your child really enjoys reading than this book should hold there attention! The reason I say this is because there is action, adventure, love without the sex, highschool and of course some blood but it's not too much!
