I don't even know where to begin.

Bella was so bland and generic, so I can see why some people enjoy this book, because they can self-insert themselves as Bella. Not judging, but I call it how I see it.

How I feel about the characters Bella and Edward:



Am I going to hell if I said I wish Bella would have been hit by the car? TOO SOON?

This book was a great start of the Twilight series. I loved how you read everything from Bellas POV. Most of the time when you read books from a POV it's normally written in 3rd person anyway, but this one is written in 1st person. You got to learn all the most important characters in this book. I enjoyed reading this book. I have to thank my two younger cousins for introducing and basically forcing me to read it. When I finally agreed to read the book, one of my other cousins and my sister told me that if I liked the book then they were going to read it too.

I was leery to start this book, despite having it on my shelf for years, due to the hype and hate that has followed this series. I have seen all but the last movie of the series as well so I basically knew the story line. As I have a hard time re-reading books and almost as much trouble getting through books which have led to movie adaptations which I have already seen.

That being said, I finally started this book as part of the #ayearathon February read-a-thon as the theme for that was Twilight
