I loved this book. Fallen is one of the many angel books I have read and one of the few I have liked. I have always loved stories about damned star-crossed lovers and this one was a perfect example of that. I think what really got me into the book was the beginning. It got me completely hooked into the story and I could not believe how good the story started out as. I already wanted to know more. What I also really liked about the book were that the characters were real. I mean as real as they c I loved this book. Fallen is one of the many angel books I have read and one of the few I have liked. I have always loved stories about damned star-crossed lovers and this one was a perfect example of that. I think what really got me into the book was the beginning. It got me completely hooked into the story and I could not believe how good the story started out as. I already wanted to know more. What I also really liked about the book were that the characters were real. I mean as real as they can be going to a reform school. There was a love triangle but, there was something off about Cam. He seemed to be extremely self-assured and extremely perfect which weirded me out. I like the people who have glitches, who have something about them that makes them normal, that makes them human and he didn't have one. He was just perfect and polite and an open book and everything you would want in a guy but, that made me suspicious. I don't know what that says about me.
Daniel was a great guy. He tried to resist Luce and was extremely hot and cold. That would probably have annoyed me if I had not known the back story which I did sort of. I think he was trying to stay away to avoid potential heartbreak which is understandable. I probably would have done the same thing but, love finds the way to each other which sucks for him but, that is what is amazing about love. Its everyone's best friend and worst enemy.
I liked Lucinda. I thought she was smart. Though she did get wooed by boys a little too much and she trusted people too fast, she had a good head on her shoulders. She was scared but, who wouldn't be and she thought that the murders that were occurring around her were her faults which they were not as you know why when you read the book.
The villains in this book, except for Cam were not really featured that much. I think Luce's friends except for Penn were not featured that much either. There was one huge surprise in the book which I was not expecting.
If you haven't read this book, read it. Its worth it. ...more
