It took forever to learn what was going on, since we're in the dark as readers almost as much as Lucinda, which made it hard at times to stay interested. I could've done without the love triangle, but maybe it'll play into something important in the next book. I hated (view spoiler)

I'm not entirely sure whether to rate this book 2, 3 or 4 stars. There are many parts I liked and other parts I just wanted to scream in frustration.
I liked Luce. Unlike Bella from Twilight (I can't help it - these books are so much alike), she's smart and active. She also cares about her friends and doesn't abandon them for a boy. That was very good for a change - usually the MC totally forgets her old girlfriends when she falls in love with the guy of her dreams. I think anyone normal ...more

Somewhat frustrating read due to the mysterious nature of the plot, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm looking forward to starting the sequel.
