The Hobbit, or There and Back Again in All Challenges All The Time

I read this book with a different cover, but I imagine the content is all the same. I never thought I would love this book as much as I do, but I kept flipping pages and had to hold off going to the bathroom during the final chapter or two until I finished it. I will be forever scarred by the loss of Thorin, Fili, and Kili. Tolkien killed off some of my favorite dwarves. May their memory never fade!

What a great book! It's fun, full of adventures and good characters, has battles, interesting lands, elves, dwarves, wizards, shape-shifter, gold, dragon, song, a great hobbit and so much more.
It was a delight to read Mr. Baggins adventures with Thorin Company, crossing vast and dangerous lands to reclaim a family treasure. Bilbo grows a lot during the various situations that the group encounters and show wisdom and a fair heart.
Definitely a book that I'll reread and read to my future kids. ...more

Una historia fantástica, que nunca hubiera pensado que iba a leer y que me ha sorprendido muchísimo. Quizás la única pega son las largas descripciones que hace Tolkien, que aún siendo densas demuestran su ingeniosa capacidad narrativa.
