Now the second book started off a little slow for me. Each book is divided into three parts. The first book got my interest from the beginning, but this book took me until part two to really get into it. But once the story picked up I was hooked. I can't say book 2 is as good as book 1, but without comparing the two Catching Fire was also a wonderful read. First of all, I listened to the audiobook version of this book, and again I hated the narrator (the same one from the first book). I just can't take her voice and her acting. But as for the book itself, I enjoyed the plot, but was underwhelmed by the delivery. There is just something about the author's writing style that I find lukewarm, not enough. A rare occasion where the middle book of the trilogy is the best. It builds on the relationships in the first book whilst introducing some great new characters and deepening the political plot.
