I just finished reading this book in one sitting. I just gotta say... WTF? But I mean WTF in a good way. The book was awesome, not as good as the first book (Nevermore) in the trilogy but still good.
First of all, I like how Isobel's family plays a prominent role in this book and in Nevermore as well. I've read many paranormal and young adult books where the parents are no where to be found ...more

I loved it! I love Creagh's writing. The phrasing, the way it flows. It's just so easy to read.
It was creepy and sad, just friggn' brilliant! It was really eerie to watch Isobel almost lose her mind and to watch Lilith manipulate the awful situation between Isobel and Varen!!!! UGH! So frustrating! But it so so SO good!

I liked it. But why i gave it three stars is this: what really frustrated me is 1) Varen is not really in the story until the end. While yes, he his absence drives Isobel's actions and emotions, I just get tired of that whole plot. Its been done so much. Too much. 2) At the end of the book, we end up in exactly the SAME place we did as before. How is that in any way good? Its exactly like when I wanted to throw the remote at the tv during the season 6 finale of gossip girl when the ending was ex
