I read this book after reading the Twilight series. I was so lost without Edward and Bella, still am and hope she isn't done with this series. It was sort of hard to switch from Twilight to The Host at first but I kept reading and enjoyed it a lot.

Three words: BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!
this is my favorite book in the world its brilliant, awesome and so full of emotion. Meyer did an amazing job here I take my hat off really.
I loved everything about this book the characters are well developed.
I loved all the characters even Kyle whos the back guy in the beginning i thought he wa funny and well just trying to save the group but obviously there was nothing to worry about he just didnt have the brains to see it.

IT'S A VERY ORIGINAL BOOK,WEIRD,BUT GOOD.I think that stephenie meyer is awesome.I LOVE THE END!because I think that Wanderer deserved to be happy.Jamie you are so cute!I hope that stephenie meyer write a second part

It took me a while to read The Host because of school. But when I finally got back to reading it, it had me hooked. Very different from the Twilight series yet I found myself surrounded by so many great characters.
I definitely recommend this book :) even to people who aren't fans of Twilight. ...more
