I was disappointed with this book. I competed it tonight. For me it was just too choppy to really understand. I know it covered a fairly short period of time in 1863, but with 6 different people narrating this book I just seemed to lose track.
I normally really like historical reads and have read Burke before and enjoyed his work, but this book just really mottled my mind and I really didn't get much out of it. ...more
