3 stars - barely!
I had high hopes for this one. Good author, retelling of a famous renown novel, and allllll that hype! Well, not for me - not this one!
For me it was way too slow and became boring a number of times. I had trouble picking it up again right from the beginning. There was almost a week that I did not pick it back up. I got tired of all the verbiage detailing female anatomy and sex, and the constant use of the "N" word. I don't think there was a character in this book that I liked. ...more
