I'm not sure where to begin with this one. This was a difficult read for me. I struggled a bit getting into the story in the beginning because of the way it was written. However, I did love Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, and the two of them remained in my heart long after the story was over.

Okay. I understand why this was named one of 2012's best works of fiction. I cried and opened my eyes, to a lovely beautiful heartbreaking tale that some how still feels uplifting. They were perfectly imperfect, as we all are. John Green does an excellent job showing how cancer robs people of not just their lives and their dreams but their dignity and their childhood as well and replaces it with pity and strength and deep deep sadness.
