Never Too Far is...wow! I loved every single moment of this book! I laughed. I cried. I felt joy, anger, hope, etc. This book has you going through every emotion and leaves you feeling contented.

Blair is a young woman trying to find her place in the world. After the death of her mother and sister, being left by her father, and devastated by Rush in Fallen Too Far, we REALLY root for her in this sequel. She is a girl that you want to see succeed. She has had so many obstacles thrown her way, you Never Too Far is...wow! I loved every single moment of this book! I laughed. I cried. I felt joy, anger, hope, etc. This book has you going through every emotion and leaves you feeling contented.

She has had so many obstacles thrown her way, you can't help but sympathize with her. Ms. Glines has created a gem of a character with Blair. There are characters that have so many things happen to them and the way they respond to them is so unreal. Never did I have a moment like that with Blair. Her responses to all the situations feel real. I loved Blair. I loved her independent nature, her determination, her insecurities, the way she loves and forgives, the list could go on and on. She is not perfect by any means, and that makes her even more endearing. She could be any girl; you, your sister, your best friend, anybody.

What can I say about Rush? He is a confused guy who knows he loves the girl, but is torn. He wants to love her freely, but with his sister constantly pulling him in the opposite direction he can't do that. He keeps messing up, but he loves Blair so much, that he keeps trying and trying to get it right. I loved that we got to see his point of view, and not just Blair's. You feel his love for her, for his sister, and his anguish at being in the middle of the two. He's just a boy trying to figure out how to love them both.

This book might revolve around these two characters, but Abbi Glines' development of the other characters is exceptional. I'm actually imagining Grant and Woods' stories (can't wait for them to come out.) I'm wondering how Bethy and Jace turn out and hoping for the best. I'm even wondering about Cain. I feel like he has a story to tell as well. I'm even hoping that Nan comes around. After the revelation we learn about her, I felt hopeful that maybe she could be redeemed after all.

And this is how Ms. Abbi Glines leaves us...hopeful. At first, I couldn't believe how the book ended. It felt incomplete. I'm not saying that there wasn't a happily ever after, because there was. I just felt that there should be an epilogue so we could get a glimpse of it instead of the open ending that was given to us. But now, reflecting back on the book, I think the ending was perfect. You know that these two are going to make it. They are going to work on their issues and no matter what stick together. Their's is a relationship full of obstacles and insecurity, but layered over all of that is love and determination to get past it all and be together. And you know that is just what is going to happen without that glimpse into the ever after. ...more

I know I am going to get so much crap for this but....I was disapointed with Never Too Far! I loved the first book, but this one I feel like she turned him into a p_ssy for lack of better words...He spent the whole book messing up then telling her he would make it up to her then turning around and messing up again....Then she just kept saying how strong Blair was but then Blair rolled over everytime he messed up. I just think there was a lot more she could have done with their story...I don't fe ...more

Well done Abbi! This book was even better than the first! We see Rush and Blaire struggling to find trust and balance in their relationship. I wanted to scream when Blaire was keeping a secret from Rush and I wanted to cry when Rush was struggling with his guilt over Nan, which was ultimately hurting Blaire. But it ended with a smile on my face and I'm dying to read Wood's story! ...more

Great read! I was hoping I would love this one more than Fallen Too Far, but no such luck. I still love Rush (and claim his as my book boyfriend), but the end to their story was just okay for me. Still love Abbi GIlnes and her writing! If there is a book three to this love story, I will read it no doubt :)!!!!

Wow, that was a lot of drama for one book, and I loved every minute of it! Awesome sequel. The only thing I didn't love, there was no epilogue! No fast forward five years... I kinda wanted to see how their story progressed a few years from the ending. ...more
