Ahh I’m so excited to talk about Flirting with Fire. Let me start off by saying that Piper Rayne are AMAZEBALLS!!! They always get me hooked in and craving more. Ahh I’m so excited to talk about Flirting with Fire. Let me start off by saying that Piper Rayne are AMAZEBALLS!!! They always get me hooked in and craving more. They set my heart ablaze with this romance novel. The only question you will be asking yourself at the end of reading this book is “Where can I find me a fireman like Mauro?”.

Flirting with Fire is a HAWT romance that follows the story between Madison Kelly and Mauro Bianco. Maddie and Mauro went to high school together. She was the “nerd” in school and he was the star quarterback. She along with every other girl has a crush on him! When they meet at a bonfire, she is surprised when he takes notice of her. They share a cute moment that will forever be stuck in her mind, but Mauro doesn’t even say hello the next day at school.

Fast forward a few years, and we meet the two again at a first responder’s bachelor auction. Maddie and two of her girlfriends are there. They decide to make things interesting by bidding on date’s for each other. Maddie ends up winning Mauro. She remember him and he doesn’t know who she is. What a dagger to the soul lol. She doesn’t want to put herself out there with him because she has been burned by him before. But she agrees to go on a date with him. Baby steps.

The date is horrendous. They have chemistry but she is too much in her head. When Mauro calls her out on it, things take a turn for the best! Turns out that our girl Maddie needed this little push to help her be herself around Maruo.

They even become business partners and are really starting to enjoy each others company. It was so fun to see these two build a friendship that would turn relationship. Together they are cute, humorous, and did I mention smoking HAWT?!!!

I LOVED getting to see these two blossom and fall in love. There were definitely ups and downs and what ifs but that just made me love the story even more. I’m so glad I read this book!

I give Flirting with Fire 5 stars! It was a romance that was had me burning up in the best way possible. These two characters and their development over the course of the book made me add this book to my top 5 books of 2018.
